what is epic?
Epic Dance & fitness is a stimulating alternative TO the standard gym that provides various unique ways to stay healthy while encouraging fun and self-love! Our classes are designed to challenge you while also building body strength, flexibility, and endurance in the most supportive, safe environment possible.

Epic Dance & Fitness is open to everyone- women, men, and children! Women and men are allowed to take all of the classes we offer, while children are allowed to take Flexibility & Stretch, Epic Aerial Silks, Hammock knot flow aerial silks, hip hop, sweat trappen, and trx suspension trainer. Pole classes are able to be taken with the permission and accompaniment of a guardian.

Each individual class is only $35! We also offer multiple membership packages available for purchase under the “Pricing” tab at the top.

Yes! Whether celebrating a birthday, a night out with friends, a corporate team-building event, a bachelorette trip, or whatever it may be, many exclusive party packages are offered through our “Parties” tab at the top.

All sales are final. Any missed classes will not be reimbursed or added back to your account. Unfortunately, this policy has no exceptions. We appreciate your understanding.
meet the founder
Hey! I’m Tamisha Thomas, founder of Epic Dance and Fitness. My journey to starting this business began when I was obtaining my degree at Jackson State University where I fell in love with the art of movement. I discovered the powerful potential that dance and fitness have to transform lives, and this led me to find my true calling. Beyond the studio, I have a beautiful family that keeps me inspired and grounded. Throughout my loving marriage with my husband Alvin C. Thomas Jr., we’ve had one child- Alvin C. Thomas III. My extended family includes my bonus son, Amiko Moore, who adds even more joy to our lives.inspired by my studio, I am deeply committed to promoting the benefits of dance and fitness in our community. I believe that movement has the power to transform lives, boost self-esteem, and create a sense of belonging. It's my mission to share this transformative experience with as many people as possible.
